Internationalisation and positioning in foreign markets

Your product is ready for export. The market doesn't know yet.

We build your entry into international markets: we analyse the context, adapt positioning and communication, activate local channels and find the right people with BOS. We don't simply translate what works in Italy: we build what it takes to work there.

The first conversation is free. The plane ticket, for now, isn't needed.

The problem

Exporting isn't pressing “translate”.

Changing language is easy. Changing market is another job. From one country to the next, the information buyers look for changes, so do the people involved in the decision, the professional channels, the certifications required and the way trust is built.

In China the digital ecosystem runs on platforms, search engines and dynamics very different from the European ones. In the United States requirements, contacts and sales processes change with the sector and the product.

Translation preserves the words. Internationalisation decides which words are actually needed. We don't take your company abroad: we build a reason for that market to listen to it.

The first conversation

Before choosing the route, we look at the map.

You can arrive with a country already decided or with a more open question: “where might our product work best?”.

We start from the company, the product and the objectives. We check production capacity, positioning, margins, certifications, sales material and available resources. Then we think about the market.

The conversation is free. Miraculous shortcuts, on the other hand, we haven't found yet.

Let's talk about your export project
During the first conversation
we listen to the project and the commercial objectives
we analyse the countries you already have in mind
we point out opportunities, obstacles and missing information
we show you how we work and what we've already done
we define what analysis is needed to decide
The service

How we build your market entry

Six blocks of work. They combine according to the country, the product and the company's resources.

01

Real market analysis

We study who can buy the product, what alternatives they already have, how competitors position themselves and which arguments they use. We analyse channels, prices, contacts, entry barriers and the behaviour of potential customers.

The aim isn't to produce a very elegant document destined never to be opened again. It's to understand where and how to act.

02

Market selection

If you've already chosen a country, we check that it makes sense given the product, the competition and the resources available. If you haven't, we compare potential markets and build a priority.

“Let's go everywhere” is a fascinating strategy until the quote arrives.

03

Local positioning and message

We adapt the way you present the company so it answers that market's questions and priorities: tone, arguments, proof, examples and the order of the information.

The message must feel written for the reader, not translated for the writer.

04

Local digital presence

We build or adapt sites, landing pages and content in the correct language, optimised for the search engines and platforms actually used in the country.

We assess industry directories, B2B portals, professional channels and the digital places where buyers look for suppliers.

05

Sales and technical material

We prepare catalogues, company profiles, product sheets, presentations and material for trade fairs or meetings, adapted to local expectations, sector terminology and technical requirements.

Where useful we also use artificial intelligence to produce images and content that are hard to make with traditional methods.

06

Partners on the ground

We activate technical, commercial and professional partners already present in the target markets. When customs, legal, tax or certification expertise is needed, we involve the right specialists.

We don't improvise a specialist answer just because it sounds convincing.

BOS and sales network

At some point you have to stop studying the market and start talking to it.

BOS — Business Opportunity System is the service with which we turn the chosen market into people, conversations and commercial opportunities.

We don't hand over a list of companies and wish you good luck. We identify the people who can decide, influence or facilitate the purchase and build a dedicated contact activity. Depending on the company, the product and the agreement, BOS works on two levels.

Level 1

Opportunity research and development

we define companies, roles and profiles to reach
we identify and verify the decision makers
we build messages and contact material
we start conversations on the agreed channels
we qualify interest, needs and fit
we arrange the meetings with your sales team

We bring the opportunity to the door. Then your salesperson steps in.

Level 2

Commercial coverage and selling

managing contacts and follow-ups
presenting the offer
developing the commercial relationship
finding and managing distributors or partners
support during negotiation
accompanying the sale

Responsibilities, territory, products, terms and objectives are defined before starting.

Some companies want qualified opportunities. Others want a sales force that represents them. BOS is built around that difference.

Where we operate

The world is big. We start from the right country.

For other markets we involve local partners when the project calls for specific linguistic, cultural or commercial expertise.

Dedicated market

China: a separate path

Search engines, platforms, sales channels, digital infrastructure and user habits belong to an ecosystem different from the Western one.

Localising a website isn't enough: the digital presence has to be rethought.

The path

Four stages. No teleportation.

1 We choose the market

If you've already decided, we verify the choice. If you're weighing several countries, we compare them on demand, competition, accessibility and fit with the product.

2 We define the entry strategy

Direct sales, distributors, sales agents or a mixed model. Each route means different investment, timing, control and risk: we choose the one that is most sustainable for the company, not the one that looks best on a diagram.

3 We build the presence

Positioning, messages, website, content, technical material, channels and partners. We prepare what it takes for the company to be found, understood and considered credible in that market.

4 We activate business development

With BOS, the partner network, agents and trade fairs when they genuinely make sense, we start contacting the right people. From here the project stops being a strategy and becomes a sales conversation.

What we measure

A foreign market isn't won with impressions.

We define concrete indicators to understand what works and what needs correcting. We can measure:

Companies and decision makers identified
People actually reached
Response rate
Conversations started
Qualified contacts
Meetings arranged
Requests for information and quotes
Interested distributors or partners
Commercial opportunities generated
Progress of negotiations

When BOS includes commercial coverage, you know what's happening in the market even when you aren't physically there.

What we don't do

No postcards from abroad.

Translating the website without first checking the positioning
Buying generic lists of companies to call all in the same way
Promising automatic sales in thirty days
Replacing legal, customs or certification consultants with a quick online search
Proposing ten markets at once when the company can only follow one properly

We prefer to build a real, measurable and sustainable presence.

Let's talk

Which market do you have in your sights?

Tell us what you make, where you'd like to sell it and what you've already tried. We analyse the starting point, show you how we work and define the right order of activities: market, positioning, presence and business development.

If the country has potential, we build the road into it. If it isn't the moment or isn't the right market, we'll tell you before letting you spend money to find out.

The first conversation is free and doesn't commit you to starting a project.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to have chosen the market already?

No. We can verify a country you've already identified or compare several markets and set a priority based on the data available.

How long does it take to get the first contacts?

It depends on the market, the product, how ready the material is and the type of contact. After the setup phase, direct contact activity can start within a few weeks. Timings and objectives are defined in the project, without promising standard results valid for everyone.

Do you also work with small companies?

Yes, if they have a competitive product and the capacity to follow up the opportunities generated. Size matters less than clarity of the offer, decision speed and willingness to invest in the market.

Can you find local distributors, partners or agents?

Yes. Finding and contacting distributors, partners and commercial figures can be specific objectives of the BOS project.

Can your agents sell directly for us?

Yes, when product, market and agreements allow it. We can limit ourselves to generating opportunities or follow relationship, negotiation and sale. Activities, responsibilities and terms are defined before starting.

Do you help with customs, contracts and certifications?

We involve specialised partners and professionals when the project requires that expertise. The work is handled by the technically qualified party best suited to the market.

Are there public grants for internationalisation?

Calls, vouchers and subsidised finance instruments may be available. Availability changes over time: at the start of the project we can check with partners which measures are active and the access requirements.

Which languages do you work in?

We work directly in Italian, English, Spanish, French and German. For other markets we activate local professionals and partners according to the project's needs.

Do you work on the Chinese market too?

Yes, with a dedicated service. China requires platforms, digital infrastructure, content and strategies different from those used in Western markets.
